DRY HOPES

With the current train of scary occurrences in our societies, it is not any wonder that men are ballooned with fear and uncertainty for the future. We can hardly see our next move in the future for doubt has invaded our mental system and has succeeded in holding captive our only driving tool; Faith! Our faith is chained, our hopes are dry and the future seems bleak. In such am excruciating predicament, can we bring our very “dry hopes” back to truly living hope? The answer to this million dollar question lies in the heart of the Creator’s own WORD!

The word of God is living and powerful. By His WORD, God SPOKE the Universe into existence; the planets and stars, the trees and the creatures in their orders of existence. The WORD of God brought sight to the blind, lepers were certified clean, and the dumb spoke. The powerful WORD of God provoked the Centurion to say to Jesus, “but say the WORD, and my servant will be healed” (Luke 7:7). Lives were given a complete turnaround by the WORD of God and the dead lived again. Yes, the DEAD, LIVED, AGAIN!

That WORD, just as it existed in the days of Ezekiel when; very Dead, very dry and far scattered bones were brought to LIFE, still exists in our time and carries the same power to do the unimaginable in our lives! If your faith is held captive, if your hopes are dry and your future seems bleak, then turn your eyes upon Jesus. Ask Him, like the Centurion, to speak a WORD in your LIFE!
