LESSON #2: ON A HIGH-WAY TO EGYPT
There was a crisis. Judah the beloved Southern Kingdom and God’s own agent through whom He was to bring forth the Messiah of the world had rebelled. She had become haughty and incomprehensible. Her behavior was unreasonable and much more unacceptable before God. Yet even in this worrying and seemingly hope taking atmosphere God raised a Prophet. His name, Jeremiah!
God had a special mission for Jeremiah; to call back Judah to the sanctified way of God almighty.

The Almighty miraculously opened the Red Sea and she passed on dry. He gave her food baked in heaven’s own perfect ovens. He saved her from the fiery serpents in the wilderness. He gave her water out of the rock. He parted the Jordan for her children to go through and safely He delivered her to the promised land of Earthly Canaan. Yet what was her recompense to the LORD? “REBELLION!”....
