Poetry is an art

That I write form the heart

To convey a fact

That will keep the path

Of success

Clear to the youth

Even without glasses

Poetry is a skill

I bring to instill

Mature thoughts 

In the mind of a youth

To kill

And bury childishness

In the land of the still

Poetry is an art

Poetry is a skill

Poetry is message

To massage 

The stressed lives 

Of hopeless souls

In a hopeless hole

As planet earth
