IS THERE A GOD?
The question about the existence of God is one that has proved to be so critical in our generation. More and more explanations are saturating our atmospheres, and all trying to answer the same question; is there a God?
If there is a God, then who created God? And who created God’s creator. This trend of questioning all proves human curiosity and unsatisfied ego. However much evidence has been reported about the possible existence of a “god”, human ego seems to oppose and wants to extinguish any flames that will seem to burn away the love of antagonism.
The question about the existence of God is central to human existence and our way of life. If a God does exist,then it means he definitely has a blue print for our lives. That blue print does specify how he expects humanity to behave. The opposite seems true and very accepted by the general human populace. As such, from this I conclude that maybe the question is not really aimed at knowing whether there is a God or not but to do away with anything that may seem to prevent human escapades.
Well, if God exists so what? So everything! The existence of a deity who is outside of time, space and matter would imply that men’s lives have a purpose and direction. The existence of a supernatural being that is creator of what exists would simply imply that men’s lives are not an accident as spontaneous generation would suggest.
Imagine what an amazing thing it would be to realize that we are designed with a purpose. Imagine trashing away the thought that our lives after this are simply nothing. We would live with much better carefulness and we would care for one another realizing that every human being proceeds from the very source that we do. What a better world we would live in!
So, the question about the existence of God is really an important question that deserves all the attention it can get. While no one, at least so far, can prove the existence of a creator deity, we definitely have all the evidence around us to believe that He does exist.
